* These are our 3 calendar sentences:
1. Yesterday was Sunday, April 4, 2010.
2. Today is Monday, April 5, 2010.
3. Tomorrow will be Tuesday, April 6, 2010.


* We read Fish Mix.


* We read How Many Fish? and we worked on these 3 rhyming words:
1. fish
2. swish
3. wish (from Will Rick Get His Wish?)


* We practiced our spelling words.  We sorted them by the number of letters in each word and we practiced our 6 rhyming spelling words.


* We practiced the song How Many? and filled in the missing numbers.  These are the words:
How Many?
Crayons, markers, pencil case, pencil case.
Crayons, markers, pencil case, pencil case.
2 crayons, 4 markers, 1 purple pencil case.
How many crayons?  2 crayons.
How many markers? 4 markers.
How many purple pencil cases? 1 purple pencil case.


* We completed these pages:
Phonics Level K pages 79 and 80
Let's Go 1 Student Book page 23










HOMEWORK
* Read the 3 calendar sentences above.


* Read Fish Mix (posted last week).


* Read How Many Fish (posted yesterday) and read and spell the 3 -ish words above.


* Complete the spelling words homework paper I am sending home and return it to school tomorrow.  Our spelling test will be Thursday!


* Read the song How Many? (words above).


* I am sending home Phonics Level K pages 79/80.  Please keep it at home and use it to practice the pictures and their ending sounds and letters.
