TODAY
* We read A Pet on a Jet.


* We read The Big Mess.  These are the words:
The Big Mess


"Who made this mess?" said Tess.
"Can you help guess?" said Ben.


A mess in the hall.
A mess on the wall.


A mess on the floor.
A mess on the door.


So, was it the dog?
Was it the cat?


No, guess again.
It was baby Matt!


Now you see who made the mess.


But who cleaned it up?
Can you guess?


* We sorted our spelling words by those that do and not have the letter n and we practiced using them in sentences.


* We read the book See Me Write!  These are the words:
See Me Write!
See me write!
I do it on the card.
I do it on the cake.
I like to write.


* We reviewed the letters Gg, Hh and Ii and the words:
Gg is for girl, garden, giraffe and giant.
Hh is for hat and house.
Ii is for ink and igloo.


* We worked with questions and answers about our families, such as:
Is he your father?  Yes, he is.
Is she your mother?  No, she isn't.  She's my sister.


* We completed these pages:
Phonics Level K pages 151, 152 and 153
Let's Go 1 Workbook page 33








HOMEWORK
* Read A Pet on a Jet.


* Read The Big Mess.


* Complete your spelling homework and return it to school Tuesday.  Our spelling test will be Thursday!
