* We read the stories Can You Find It? and Oh, Cats!.


* We read our new story Kip Went Zip.  These are the words:

* We put last week's 10 spelling words on the alphabet word wall and we started working on this week's 10 spelling words.  They are:

* We started our Jj letter study.  (Jj is for Jessica!).  We sorted pictures and words by those that begin with Jj and those that do not begin with Jj.

These 2 words do not begin with Jj:
1. map
2. sun


* We practiced asking the question "What can you do?" and answering with "I can touch my _____." using our body parts.

* Read and spell this week's 10 spelling words above.  I am sending home a flashcards spelling words paper.


* Read and spell the 6 words above that begin with Jj (like Jessica!) and the 2 words above that do not begin with Jj.
