TODAY
* We took our spelling test!  Our 2 challenge words were playing and they.


* We read A Big Job.


* We read the new story Sweet Potato Pie.  These are the words:

* We used our spelling words in sentences.


* We continued our Cc letter study.  We sorted pictures and words by those that begin with Cc and those that do not begin with Cc.

* We read Tadpole to Frog and The Pots on the Top.


* We continued our review of Dd, Ll and Nn.


* We continued to practice reading the 8 sentences with the words I, go, have and to that we worked on yesterday.


* We worked on reading these 4 sentences and putting them in order:
1. What are these?
2. They are gray markers.
3. How many gray markers?
4. Five gray markers.


* We practiced reading and writing these 4 questions and answers:
1. What color are these?
They are orange.  They are orange pencils.


2. What color are these?
They are brown.  They are brown books.

They are yellow.  They are yellow rulers.

They are pink.  They are pink erasers.
