* We read our story Kip Went Zip.  We focused on these 4 words:
1. Kim (Kim is the girl in our story.)
2. Kip (Kip is the dog in our story.)

(Kip, zip and sip are rhyming words!)


* We read Oh, Cats!.


* We practiced our 10 spelling words.


* We continued our Jj letter study.  We sorted words and pictures by those that begin with Jj (like Jessica!) and those that do not begin with Jj.

* Read the 3 calendar sentences above.


* Read Kip Went Zip (posted yesterday) and read and spell the 4 words above.


* Complete the spelling words handwriting paper I am sending home today and return it to school tomorrow in your backpack envelope.  Our spelling test will be Thursday!


* Read and spell the 8 words above that begin with Jj (like Jessica!) and the 7 words above that do not begin with Jj.
