2. Today is Wednesday, March 3, 2010.
3. Tomorrow will be Thursday, March 4, 2010.


* We read our story Look at That!.  We practiced our rhyming words and we worked on using our words to talk about the story and what happens in it.  


* We practiced our spelling words.


* We finished our Mm letter study!


* We continued our Kk letter study.  We sorted pictures and words by those that begin with Kk and those that do not begin with Kk.


These 5 words begin with Kk:
1. kitten
2. kite/kites
3. kangaroo
4. key
5. king


These 4 words do not begin with Kk:
1. fish
2. horse
3. hat
4. ball


* We completed these pages:
Phonics Level K pages 46, 47 and 49








HOMEWORK
* Read the 3 calendar sentences above.


* Read Look at That!.


* Read and spell the 5 words above that begin with Kk and the 4 words above that do not begin with Kk.


* I am sending home our Mm packet.  Please keep it at home and use it to study and practice the letters, pictures and words.


* I am sending home a spelling words homework paper.  Please complete it at home and return it to school tomorrow in your backpack envelope.  Your spelling test will be tomorrow!
