* We read our story Oh, Cats! and reviewed these words:

We also reviewed the 3 different ways to finish a sentence:
1. period (I can see cats.)
2. question mark (Run away, cats?)
3. exclamation point (Oh, cats!)


* We worked on this sentence:

We practiced these 8 sentences:
1. My plant is on the table.
2. My cat is on the table.
3. My cat is on the plant.
4. My plant is on the mat.
5. My pillow is on the bed.
6. My bear is on the chair.
7. My book is on the desk.
8. My jacket is on the hook.


(We made our own sentences, too!)


* We practiced our numbers 1-10 and using them in questions and answers.


* We completed these pages:
Phonics Level K pages 31 and 32


HOMEWORK


* I am sending home a handwriting homework paper.  Please complete it and return it to school tomorrow in your backpack envelope.  Remember: Letters don't fly!


* I am also sending home pages 31/32 with the 8 "My _____ is on the _____." sentences.  Please read and practice the sentences and words.


* I am also sending home flashcards.  Please keep these at home and use them to practice the words.


* Read the 3 calendar sentences above.


* Read Oh, Cats! (posted on Sunday) and read and spell the words above.


* Count as high as you can in English!
