* These are our 3 calendar sentences:
1. Yesterday was Sunday, February 7, 2010.
2. Today is Monday, February 8, 2010.
3. Tomorrow will be Tuesday, February 9, 2010.


* We read our new story The Nap.  We found all 10 of our spelling words in the story!  We worked on rhyming words, too!  These are some rhyming words in the story:

* We reviewed the letter Tt and we practiced writing Tt using good handwriting.


* We continued working with our numbers and number words.


* We read our new read-aloud book Put Me in the Zoo by Robert Lopshire. (We worked on rhyming words with this story, too!)


* We finished these pages:
Phonics Level K pages 21 and 22
Let's Go: Let's Begin page 32

* Please use the paper I sent home yesterday to practice your spelling words.  Also, I am sending home spelling words handwriting homework.  The spelling test will be on Thursday!

* Read The Nap (words posted yesterday).


* Read and spell The Nap rhyming words above.
